Australasian Bat Night Events - Northern Territory

The 2018 bat night season is here! Below are events to be held across the NT.

Australasian Bat Night in Alice

Olive Pink Botanic  Gardens, Tuncks Rd, Alice Springs

Tuesday 6th March

6.30pm - 8.30pm

Join us to celebrate and learn about the microbat species of Central Australia. These nocturnal hunters use sound (and scent) to find their food. What do you think they might eat? Come along to spot one or two and find out more about these amazing mammals from guest speaker, Erin Westerhuis, who has been researching them. Free event - all welcome. Bring a rug or chair to sit on and a torch to spot bats.

Contact Jennifer on 8951 8247 or jennifer.kreusser@nt.gov.au for more information. A Parks and Wildlife NT event.
